3346 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme for the 2026 calendar year?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry), the budget is set on a financial‑year basis (1 July to 30 June), rather than by calendar year. As a result, it does not hold budget information for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme on a calendar‑year basis. I am further advised that the budget for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2025/26 financial year is $12,000.
