3339 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to 2061 (2024), have any other roll outs of the Earn-As-You-Learn programme been planned, if so, where and when are these roll outs expected, by region and date?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is progressing the implementation of the Health Care Assistant Earn-As-You-Learn programmes through the Level 3 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing. Health New Zealand is not currently able to provide the expected timing of roll outs across District Hospitals as this information is not centrally held.
