3337 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme for the 2026 calendar year?

Hon Chris Penk: Land Information New Zealand captures its Budget and expenditure by financial year rather than by calendar year. For the 2025/26 financial year, Land Information New Zealand has budgeted $35,000 for the verification, auditing and certification costs associated with the Carbon Neutral Government Programme.
