3331 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme for the 2026 calendar year?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the Ministry of Justice has budgeted for an emissions audit in FY26 as per the requirement of the Carbon Neutral Government Programme at a cost of $8,350. There is a budget of $1,700.00 to carry out an annual waste audit at the Justice Centre. Therefore, a total of $10,905.00 has been allocated in the 2026 financial year. The Ministry does not budget on a calendar-year basis.
