3328 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that the Ministry of Justice spent $7,230.50 on an emissions audit in the 2025 financial year as per the requirement of the Carbon Neutral Government Programme. The Ministry also spent $1,590.00 to carry out an annual waste audit at the Justice Centre. Therefore, a total of $8,820.50 was spent in the 2025 financial year. The Ministry does not budget on a calendar-year basis.
