3311 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme for the 2026 calendar year?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised the 2026 calendar year budget for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Carbon Neutral Government Programme activities is approximately NZ$152,000, which will cover part of the salary of a staff member, 0.1 FTE contractor, audit and verification services, and software licensing fees. Antarctica New Zealand has budgeted NZ$24,731 for Toitu membership, Carbon reduce audit fee and an FTE allocation.
