3310 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that in the 2025 Calendar year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade spent NZ$171,285 on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme. These funds were for part of the salary of one staff member, 0.1 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) contractor, audit and verification services, and implementation and licensing fees for emissions software. Antarctica New Zealand has spent NZ$24,605 for Toitu membership, Carbon reduce audit fee and an FTE allocation.
