3307 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Finance: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised The Treasury is committed to reducing its carbon emissions in line with targets set by Government but does not specifically track any expenditure for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme. I am also advised the RBNZ has not spend anything on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year. The work the RBNZ does to measure, monitor and audit their operational emissions has long been a business-as-usual process and meets what is required of them under the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP). I am further advised the Natural Hazards Commission has spent $13,249.50 on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year.
