3304 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Penny Simmonds: The Environmental Protection Authority incurred actual costs of $7,013 on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year. This included membership and certification costs. The Ministry for the Environment' s actual spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year was $221,415. I am advised this information has been collated from actual spend records and covers part of two financial reporting periods.
