3303 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: When, if at all, did the government first formally consider lowering the corporate income tax rate?

Hon Nicola Willis: I have sought advice from a number of people and agencies on a range of policies to support economic growth as part of Budget 2025 including tax policies. Any advice on these initiatives, including the dates the advice was proffered and the people and agencies involved in offering it, will be released as part of the proactive Budget release as appropriate.
