3298 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that in the 2025 calendar year, the Ministry of Education spent $110,400 on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme. NZQA does not hold a record of this by calendar year, however they spent $12,955 on the carbon neutral government programme for the 2024/2025 financial year ENZ does not hold a record of this by calendar year, however they spent $12,989 on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2024/25 financial year. ERO does not hold a record of this by calendar year, however they spent $10,775 on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2024/25 financial year.
