3289 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the operational costs associated with the Carbon Neutral Government Programme, such as the emissions verification fee, were $0.02 million in the 2025 calendar year. I am further advised that in relation to the Capital Plan, Corrections spent $13.0 million on electric vehicles and boiler replacement programmes in the 2025 calendar year.
