3285 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: How much, if any, have the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, budgeted for the carbon neutral government programme for the 2026 calendar year?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Department of Conservation has budgeted $26,400 for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2026 calendar year to 30 June 2026. Detailed budgets for 1 July to 30 December 2026 have not been finalised. I am further advised that, for context, this figure does not include any staffing and operational costs, which are not separately budgeted for this work and are instead covered from departmental baselines.
