3284 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Department of Conservation spent $36,774 (ex. GST) on work related to the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2025 calendar year. I am further advised that, for context, this figure does not include any staffing and operational costs, which are not separately budgeted for this work and are instead covered from departmental baselines.
