3271 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Vocational Education: On what date in 2024, if any, did the Tertiary Education Commission receive The Teacher's Institute (also known as the Auckland Schools Teacher Development Trust) application for initial teacher education funding?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been informed by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) that an application for funding was received from the Teacher’s Institute for initial education teacher funding on 5 July 2024 for 2025 funding. This application was part of the TEC annual investment process for the tertiary sector.
