3266 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Vocational Education: On what date in 2024, if any, did the Tertiary Education Commission approve the Teacher's Institute (also known as the Auckland Schools Teacher Development Trust) application for initial teacher education funding?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I have been informed by the Tertiary Education Commission that funding was approved for the Teacher’s Institute for initial education teacher funding on 13 November 2024 and the Teachers Institute was informed via a Funding Confirmation Letter on 10 December 2024.
