3239 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: How many personal grievance cases, broken down by success status, if any, were filed in the Ministers departments, if any, in the 2023 calendar year?

Hon Erica Stanford: I have been advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that eight personal grievances were raised in the 2023 calendar year. Seven of those grievances have been settled, and one personal grievance has not been pursued further. The New Zealand Qualifications Authority had no personal grievance cases filed in the 2023 calendar year. The Education Review Office had one personal grievance filed and settled in the 2023 calendar year.
