3232 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How many initial teacher education places did The Teacher's Institute receive School Onsite Training Programme funding for in each of primary and secondary school programmes, listed by each year funding was recevied for?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that the Teacher’s Institute received School Onsite Training Programme (SOPT) funding for 152 initial teacher education places in 2026. This included 44 primary places and 108 secondary places. All initial teacher education providers applied for SOPT places according to their capacity.
