Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How many initial teacher education places did Toi Kura Massey University of New Zealand | Te Kunenga Ki Pūrehuroa receive School Onsite Training Programme funding for in its Māori medium primary school programme, listed by each year funding was recevied for?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that Toi Kura, Massey University received School Onsite Training Programme (SOPT) funding for 15 Māori medium primary initial teacher education places in 2026. All initial teacher education providers applied for SOPT places according to their capacity.
