3194 (2026). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Food Safety: How many staff, by FTE, number, and job title, if any, from the Ministry for Primary Industries, have worked on the proposal to transfer meat inspection responsibilities from AsureQuality to meat processing companies?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: To date, I have not received any specific information on the matter as meat inspection requirements are an operational matter for the Ministry for Primary Industries to consider.
