3145 (2025). Tamatha Paul to the Minister for Children: What actions, if any, are or have been taken to address the concerns raised by the eight young people who climbed onto the roof of the Korowai Manaaki facility in December 2024?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that they conducted an operational debrief following the rooftop incident at Korowai Manaaki in December 2024, including investigating the motivations of the young people who participated, and these do not appear to be related to any concerns about their care at the residence.
