3143 (2024). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister for Disability Issues: What is the process that will be followed to determine what expense is deemed a necessary part of supporting the disabled person while the full-time carer is taking a break?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that if people are unsure whether an expense is a ‘necessary, part of providing support’ they are encouraged to consider whether the support would be possible if the expense were not met.
