3103 (2025). Cushla Tangaere-Manuel to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How, if at all, is a ‘high value’ tourist defined?

Hon Louise Upston: A key priority for me as Minister for Tourism and Hospitality is attracting more international visitors to New Zealand. Increasing the value of exports to New Zealand is also a priority to the Government and international tourism is an important part of that. We welcome all visitors to New Zealand, and I believe that every visitor is valuable.
