3088 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What employment or engagement outcomes resulted from recorded incidences of sexual harassment in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, broken down by outcome category, if any?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand recorded two incidences of sexual harassment between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2025. One resulted in a final warning being issued and the other resulted in dismissal. Due to the number of cases involved and the sensitivity of individual incidents, releasing further information regarding these incidents would compromise the privacy of the individuals concerned.
