3079 (2026). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Forestry: Did the Minister consider the submission of the Environmental Defence Society on the Climate Change Response (Emissions Trading Scheme – Forestry Conversion) Bill that passed into law in 2025, where it was stated that ‘exempting LUC classes 7 and 8, the most erosion-prone land will be targeted for [exotic] forestry expansion’; if so, what is his response?
