Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised by the Public Service Commission (the Commission) that there is a long-standing convention that it does not release the individual terms and conditions, such as salary, of chief executives for privacy reasons. However, the Commission does publicly release the total remuneration received by chief executive over a six-month period. This information is publicly available on the Commission’s website at the following link: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/system/leaders/appointing-leaders/leader-pay/chief-executive-remuneration Grainne Moss was appointed as the Acting Secretary for Regulation on 1 March 2024 and a recruitment process for a permanent appointment is underway. The total remuneration received for chief executive roles will next be released in August.
