Camilla Belich to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: How many recorded incidences of sexual harassment, if any, have occurred in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry), that based on current records, no incidences of sexual harassment have occurred in relation to any staff during each calendar year from 2023 to 2026. The Ministry holds no records indicating such incidences for the period 2019 to 2022. Records prior to 2019 are not held or incomplete in line with authorised and disposal requirements under the Public Records Act 2005
