3028 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many doctors, if any, who completed rural hospital medicine or specialist GP training on the West Coast in the past ten years are still practising on the West Coast?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that of the current rural generalist and specialist general practice cohort working in Greymouth, South Westland and Buller, 15 completed rural hospital medicine or specialist GP training on the West Coast.
