Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many registrars are expected to be placed on the West Coast in 2026 under the newly coordinated rural hospital medicine and specialist GP training programme, and how many of these, if any, are additional to existing training placements?

Hon Simeon Brown: I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 3012 (2026). I am advised that they are an expansion of the existing cohort.
