3023 (2025). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Health: What, if any, was the number of nursing staff, Senior Medical Officers (SMOs), and Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) working within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Service at Whakatāne Hospital for the July–September 2024 quarter?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised there were four Senior Medical Officers, one Resident Medical Officer, and 21.05 FTE midwifery and nursing staff.
