3015 (2025). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Health: Over 2024, what provisions were in place for Senior Medical Officers (SMOs) in Whakatāne’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology Service to receive professional development, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) opportunities?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that Senior Medical Officers receive a Continuing Medical Education allocation.
