3015 (2024). Darleen Tana to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: Is the Minister aware and supportive of the efforts by Moana New Zealand, the largest Māori-owned seafood company, to address the harvest footprint of their contract harvesters?

Hon Shane Jones: I have met with Moana and I am supportive of our seafood businesses working with their contract harvesters to continuously improve how they fish while growing the export value of the sector.
