2988 (2025). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister for Biosecurity: What, if any, was the fluctuation in the price of eggs during the H7N6 detection in December, and how, if at all, does the Minister plan for monitoring and management of price stability of eggs in the event of an H5N1 outbreak?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: Stats NZ reports that the price of eggs decreased in December 2024 from the previous month. Further, I refer the member to WPQ 2984 (2025).
