2986 (2025). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister for Biosecurity: What, if any, was the fluctuation in the price of poultry meat during the H7N6 outbreak, and how, if at all, does the Minister plan for monitoring and management of poultry price stability in the event of an H5N1 outbreak?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: The H7N6 detection was on a layer farm and as such had no impact on the supply and price of poultry meat nationally. Further, I refer the member to WPQ 2984 (2025).
