2970 (2026). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister for Biosecurity: What modelling or risk assessments, if any, have been conducted on the likelihood and estimated timeframe for Corbicula fluminea spreading to the Clutha or Waitaki river systems?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am advised that Cawthron Institute has published research on habitats in New Zealand that may be suitable locations for Corbicula fluminea to establish a population.
