2955 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: How many liaison officers are employed by Police, as of 12 March 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that as of 13 March 2024, there are 96 staff in ‘liaison’ roles. This number includes Iwi & Ethnic liaison officers in the police districts, overseas liaison staff, rural liaison staff, Te Pae Oranga liaison staff, Kaitakawaenga and Community liaison staff.
