2949 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: How many customer service representatives are employed by Police, as of 12 March 2024?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that as of 13 March 2024, there are 245 staff whose positions could be classed as customer-service-related, including Station Support Officers, Watchhouse keepers and some Police Infringement Bureau staff, but this number does not include internal ICT Helpdesk or Communication Centre staff. Casual and Contractor (non-employee) staff are also not counted in any this number. This is also my response to Written Parliamentary Question 2950 (2024).
