2945 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for Rail: Has KiwiRail indicated to the Minister whether its May 2025 Southerner excursions are intended to become a regular tourist service, and if yes, what advice, if any, has he received?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: No. As KiwiRail has announced publicly, the Southerner excursions are a temporary service.
