2939 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Education: What employment or engagement outcomes resulted from recorded incidences of sexual harassment in each calendar year since 2015 in relation to any staff, employees, secondees, contractors, or office holders for whom the Minister has responsibility in connection with the portfolio, broken down by outcome category, if any?

Hon Erica Stanford: The information sought by the Member is not collated by the Ministry of Education in a way that is readily reportable in the timeframe available to respond to written parliamentary questions. It would not be in the public interest to divert staff from their cores roles to undertake the research and collation required. Education New Zealand, the Education Review Office and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority has had no recorded instances of sexual harassment from 2015 to 2025.
