2934 (2025). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Customs: What is the total number of frontline FTE dedicated to border control over the last 5 years broken down by unit and year?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) does not categorise staff into discrete frontline and back-office categories. For the number of Customs officers over the last five years, I refer the member to my response to written Parliamentary Question 2932 (2025).
