Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last quarter to work with national clinical and specialist networks to establish pathways to build specialist expertise in vulnerable service areas to develop a nationwide health training system?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that between September and December 2023 Health New Zealand undertook activities to stand up the National Clinical Networks, including recruitment of co-leads; establishing a management team to support the networks, and initial work to recruit membership.
