2892 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken to sustain support for internationally-qualified nurses (IQNs) to practice in Aotearoa, through supporting them with their Competency Assessment Programmes?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that between October and December 2023, Health New Zealand developed a landing page for potential international mental health and addiction candidates, as part of the International Recruitment Centre's Mental Health & Addiction pilot, which provides more information on workforce roles and settings in New Zealand.
