2888 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last quarter to pilot or expand supervisory roles for end-of-career staff to provide part-time support or mentoring to our clinical teams, as outlined in Te Whatu Ora's health workforce plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that a number of mentorship initiatives, including expanding cultural and mentoring support for kaimahi Māori, as outlined in the Health Workforce Plan, were completed before the Oct-Dec 2023 quarter, and no actions remained to be taken.
