2870 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last quarter to improve timely and accurate reimbursements, including Te Whatu Ora directly managing professional fee payments where possible?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that between October and December 2023, Health New Zealand reviewed its reimbursement practices, and developed proposals to improve the timeliness of reimbursements for national and local rollout.
