2869 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last quarter to continue to pay out the $200m-a-year Government investment in pay parity for nurses and healthcare assistants working in the primary and community sector?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that all of the funding, $200m per annum, was passed to relevant providers on 1 July 2023 to enable them to reduce pay disparities for eligible nurses and kaiāwhina.
