2868 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the last quarter to continue to work with our union partners to conclude collective negotiations and pay equity claims, for the mutual good of our workforce, as outlined in Te Whatu Ora's health workforce plan?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the collective agreements that were concluded and ratified between October and December 2023 were PSA's Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical, APEX Medical Laboratory Workers; E tū's Maintenance & Related Services workers; PSA's Mental Health Public Nursing (Auckland Region); PSA's Mental Health Public Nursing (rest of New Zealand), and ASMS Senior Medical Officers. I am further advised that during the same quarter, pay equity claims were settled for Librarians, Interpreters, Midwifery, and the Allied, Scientific and Technical workforce. As a result, all current pay equity claims for Health New Zealand staff have been concluded.
