2844 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What actions, if any, has Te Whatu Ora taken in the last quarter to improve pay and conditions for ambulance officers?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is not party to Hato Hone St John and Wellington Free Ambulance employment negotiations. Health New Zealand has provided annual contractual uplifts for emergency ambulance services which includes a component for labour cost increases.
