Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, work underway on the National Palliative Care Work Programme continued to focus on developing consistent and equitable models of care to better support all New Zealanders who need palliative care. I am further advised that the needs of those affected by dementia mate wareware were reflected in the analysis of Health New Zealand’s national survey on palliative care and considered by the Models of Palliative Care – Adult Working Group.
