Hon Brooke van Velden: I have received the following briefings regarding the Employment Relations Act: - Briefing for the Incoming Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety (27 November 2023) - Extending the availability of 90-day trial periods to all employers (29 November 2023) - Employment Relations Education – December 2023 course approval round (13 December 2023) - Employment Relations (Protection for Kiwisaver members) Amendment Bill – initial briefing (22 February 2024) - Employment Relations (Restraint of Trade) Amendment Bill – initial briefing (22 February 2024) I have also received informal advice on the Employment Relations Act such as work programme updates, reporting, answers to questions that provide contextual information, and talking points.
