Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the action ‘Design agreed national indicators, measures, and standards for the dementia mate wareware sector and roll out this process as part of the outcome measures work within the Healthy Ageing Strategy’ under the objective ‘Strengthen leadership and capability across the sector’ within Te Whatu Ora’s Improving Dementia Mate Wareware Services in Aotearoa New Zealand Action Plan?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, Health New Zealand continued to progress Phase 2 of the Aged Care Funding and Service Models Review, including developing national indicators for areas of change.
